Your competent partner

Let us become part of your practice philosophy.
A true philosophy questions fundamentals. That is our approach. Every restoration is unique and requires careful, well-considered handling. In our laboratory, this is achieved through modern technology combined with precise attention to detail.
The path to a successful prosthetic solution depends on clear, structured communication between dentist and technician. To meet expectations reliably, we focus on solutions where outcomes are predictable rather than left to chance.
We build trust through transparency. Our internal processes are designed to provide consistency and security across every stage of treatment.
For your patients, we act as designers, listeners, and service providers. For you as a clinician, we are a committed partner who helps you deliver on your promise of quality and care.
Quality means doing things right when no one is watching.
Henry Ford
Visualisation is the process of translating complex or abstract ideas into images – and each patient interprets these differently. That is why it is essential to actively involve the patient in order to truly understand their perspective.
Together with the clinician, we align the patient’s expectations with the prosthetic possibilities. Where appropriate, we work with mock-ups to make outcomes tangible at an early stage.
We rely on empathy to understand each patient’s thoughts, concerns, and situation, and to respond appropriately.
Patient consultation takes valuable time. We support you in this process so you can stay focused on treatment.
Our Services
Milling Services
We cover a wide range of indications – from single crowns to multi-unit bridges and complex full-arch restorations.
We manufacture both individual primary and secondary components and process all common implant systems. On request, we support you from planning through to final implementation.
For dental laboratories, we supply precisely manufactured components for further processing.
For dental practices, we provide fully completed prosthetic restorations.
We see ourselves not just as a supplier, but as a partner who actively contributes to achieving the best possible outcome.
Implant Prosthetics / Planning
The variety of systems and individual clinical situations requires solid expertise and a clear understanding of available options.
Only then can reliable and safe solutions be developed for both clinician and patient.
We support you in planning and execution and manufacture all necessary components tailored to your case.
Splint Therapy (CMD)
Splint therapy is used to treat functional disorders of the masticatory system (CMD). Its primary goal is neuromuscular relaxation.
The splints, also known as bite appliances, are individually fabricated for the upper or lower jaw based on the dentist’s specifications.
A splint is not a standard product. Its effectiveness depends on precise planning and execution.
We support you with the necessary expertise to ensure reliable results.
Ceramic Layering
Ceramic layering remains one of the most demanding disciplines in dental technology. It defines the final aesthetic and functional quality of a restoration.
We handle complex cases with precision – from anterior restorations to full-arch and implant-supported work.
Instead of making claims, we show results. Our gallery provides a realistic insight into our work.
Courses (3Shape / exocad)
We offer training in 3Shape and exocad.
If you already scan and design but lack experience in CAM processes, we provide targeted training to close that gap.
Each training session is tailored to your needs – from focused topics to full-day workshops.

Logistics & Collaboration
We are a reliable partner for dental practices and laboratories.
We offer both pickup and delivery services and adapt to your workflow. You can work with us via upload portal, phone, or email.
Test the collaboration in practice and see how straightforward and dependable the process is.

Sergej Bauer completed his comprehensive and well-structured training at the dental laboratory of Manfred Läkamp, where he built a broad and solid foundation of technical expertise. He then continued to refine and expand his skills through hands-on experience.
To gain additional perspective and comparison, he spent a further year in another laboratory. This experience reinforced his appreciation for the laboratory of Manfred Läkamp, for which he continues to hold great respect.
He subsequently moved into the digital field of dental technology, which led him to found his own company, designdental, in 2017. There, he developed extensive expertise in modern CAD/CAM technologies and digital workflows. In 2019, he successfully completed his master craftsman examination in Münster.
By managing both a milling center and his own dental laboratory, he further expanded his professional expertise. At the same time, he established efficient, structured workflows and places strong emphasis on transparency to provide his clients with reliability and trust.
